SRH Blessing Ceremony

Story on blessing of SRH: On the morning of Monday, July 15th, 2024, Siem Reap House by Siem Reap Academy celebrated its opening with a heartfelt blessing ceremony at Rose Apple Square. The event commenced with a traditional Khmer blessing led by Samdech Preah Brahma Rattanamony Sereysovano Pin Sem, Chief Monk of Reach Bo Pagoda, who performed Buddhist rituals to bless the new space. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Ou Virak, a leading expert in political analysis and human rights advocacy and Chair of the Board at Siem Reap Academy. The diverse attendees included professionals from fields such as art, music, public health, education, and youth development.

After the blessing ceremony, guests enjoyed a guided tour of the Rose Apple Square complex and the thoughtfully designed co-working spaces, private offices, lecture halls, meeting rooms, and the auditorium. This provided an excellent opportunity for guests to connect with like-minded changemakers and enjoy communal refreshments featuring local desserts.

Siem Reap House, created by Siem Reap Academy, is a co-working space designed to empower change-makers in addressing pressing challenges in Cambodia and Southeast Asia. The space aims to foster a supportive community and build meaningful partnerships.
